We can form a discussion and
get quick responses by using Twitter, a popular social networking site rather
than BlackBoard, an academic networking site. Twitter discussion is more active
- we can use SMS service of our mobile phone but we need a PC and internet
connection to access BB. Twitter discussion is public whereas BB discussion is
academic. So BB needs more literature and grammatical perfection. Twitter posting
is limited by 140 characters at a time. BlackBoard discussion can be shown as
academic and professional achievement. We can tweet from anywhere but we need
to be presented in classroom to participate an in-class discussion.
