Twitter, a popular social networking site, gave its users a limited character (only 140) message option to post but left the opportunity to outsource the design of the features. The #,@ symbols and the word “tweet”, “retweet” are also come from the users. New media helps people to exchange their ideas and imaginations as well as computers and related software let people to design new product and service more efficiently.

 

Many companies change their business activities according to the user’s interests. For example, Flickr was a gaming site at the beginning but its photo sharing site was more popular among users.  So the founders rebuild the site. Many software programmers use the open source code to design their programs and users can modify them according to needs. New media helps the consumers to be more creative in the C2B approach. We can create any design of our own products, from Lego design to holiday vacation and let the business companies to fulfil our needs.
