Social Networking

Social networking technologies help people to keep in touch with each other. They are used for so many activities, such as participate on class discussion board, spread of real time occurrences, public and social responsibilities awareness, public relationship, fund raising, political movement, brand loyalty, release of new song or book, helping traffic police dept. to find out law breakers. For these technologies, nobody is isolated and more diversity adds to the society. We can share our thoughts, ideas and present ourselves to anyone just in a bit of time. Knowledge is power and this power is more accessible to us due to social networking. It has some disadvantages also. These devices take a lot of our attention and time. These are dangerous while driving or working. We have now less privacy. Gossip spreads out too fast. Sometimes social networking acts as a media of humiliation and bullying. In future, I think social networking technologies will come in more user friendly devices and may be operated by our voices, gesture and thoughts.
